Driving Range Safety
The following rules MUST be followed when using our driving range facilities.
Stay in your bay:
Only swing and hit balls from within your chosen bay and on the provided mats using a static stance for safety (no running swings).
Aim:
Never purposefully aim to hit balls outside of the range area (marked by the surrounding hills), towards range staff, or other golfers. Always ensure no one is in the trajectory of your shot.
Know your surroundings:
Pay attention to those around you, do not step near or in front of someone swinging or getting ready to take their shot. Same goes for those swinging, make sure your line of swing is clear of any obstacles, including people, golf bags, bay dividers and walls. Do not reach or step out onto the stones safety zone.
Supervise children:
Children on the range must be supervised by an adult at all times (please ask a member of staff or see the relevant signage and links for more info).
Inspect your clubs:
Do not use damaged or cracked clubs, as they can break and cause injury.
Report incidents:
Any accidents or incidents should e reported to a staff member. If you see something dangerous, please report it.
No smoking or vaping:
We do not allow smoking or vaping on the range or within outdoor spaces. Please use our designated smoking area in the beer garden.
